Brooklyn Heights Tours:

Heroes, Writers, Saints and Surpises
This is our showcase tour and our most popular tour!  We offer this tour on select Saturday and Sunday afternoons or by special arrangement.

Learn about the
Heroes, Writers, Saints and Surprises of Brooklyn Heights on this 2 hour walking tour of Brooklyn's most interesting neighborhoods.  Along the way you'll see where Truman Capote wrote "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and hear about his famous feud with Norman Mailer, who lived just a block away.  You'll see two places that Arthur Miller lived.  You'll see the church where "the most famous man in America" preached.  Along the way you'll see iconic Brooklyn sights and hear a surprising story or two.

This tour is offered on dates announced above and is available on most SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS by arrangement for groups of 4 or more.
If it is not being offered on a date you are interested in, please contact me to see if I can add it to the calendar.

The tour departs from the front steps of Brooklyn Borough Hall, near the intersection of Remsen Street and Court Street.  The closest Subway is the 2,3, 4 or 5 train, Borough Hall Station.
You are in the right place if you are on or near the steps and can see the garden and fountain.

The cost of the tour is $15 per person.  On announced tour dates there is no need to confirm.  You just have to show up at the departure point.  The tour takes place rain or shine.  The entire walk is on level ground with only one short set of stairs but does move at a brisk pace and crosses a number of busy streets.
